BlessingwayA Blessingway can take place anywhere you like – in nature, at the kitchen table or around a fire. It is a ceremony of Navajo tradition that nurtures, honors and celebrates womanly rites of passage. It’s a time for thoughtful celebration with your community.Your Birth Blessingway can be a great addition, or alternative, to a baby shower. It is a thoughtful ritual to help you transition into motherhood and/or to welcome additional children to your family. I offer support and guidance in creating and holding a Blessingway. Call me or have a friend inquire about a Blessingway for You. It is an incredibly special time for a Mother and her friends – a cherished moment in time. Since ancient times women have looked to other women for support. This is a primal need. |
